I grew up near Yeovil and my family has lived in Bourton since 1996. I was previously on Bourton Parish council for a few years, and now that I am semi-retired I have returned.
I have been an agronomist for over 27 years which has given me a great understanding of sustainability in agriculture, environmental issues and bio-diversity and I continue to advise on environmental issues and agronomics to farmers. Our children both had great childhoods in Bourton and I am keen for other members of our community of all ages to be able to prosper here in our village.
I am a very keen gardener and have spent many years renovating our home.
I have recently been involved with village events, as my wife is now chair of the village hall trustees.
